Discover the deeper meaning and benefits of mala beads with Gia and Isis at this special event we have prepared for you! Learn about the ancient and powerful tool for meditation and mindfulness, and create your own unique mala to enhance your personal practice!
What is a mala and why create one?
A mala is a special necklace with 108 beads that is used for praying or meditation. Commonly used in Indian religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. It is used for counting recitations of mantras, prayers or other sacred phrases! By carrying one, especially if is a mala you have made, is like carrying a special amulet full of your personal intention. Malas also protect, and help to develop a spiritual connection.
Gia will be guiding you during the process of creating your mala. With her knowledge of crystal healing and power, she will guide you to understand how important is to create a mala with the right beads to give your mala a certain energy that can vibrate with yourself.
Isis will be teaching you about meditation and initiating you into a powerful and personal, ancient meditation practice with breathwork, mantra, and aromatherapy to activate and cultivate the energy of your newly hand-crafted mala.
What do I need to bring?
🍃Feel free to bring a cushion/pillow or even a yoga mat! We will be crafting our mala on the blankets as well as the meditation. So please feel free to bring anything that will make you feel comfortable :)
🍃If you love tea, bring your mug! We will have herbal tea for everyone!
